By Road:
Take the
Bus No: 430 (from Kumbakonam Bus station to Nagapattinam via Nannilam) and Bus
No: 28, 335 (from Kumbakonam Bus station to Nannilam) Bus Stop, get down at Achuthamangalam.
This Temple is just 2 Kms from Achuthamangalam Bus Stop. Auto rickshaws
are available to reach Srivanchiyam from Achuthamangalam (3 Kms)
Approximate auto fare: Rs.70. Apart from these buses you have direct buses to
Srivanchiyam from Kumbakonam. The bus name is “National” and the bus timings
are 6 a.m, 9.30 a.m, 1.30 p.m, 5.30 p.m.
Devotees
can get down near the temple and can reach the temple by walk. The running hour
in this bus from Kumbakonam to Srivanchiyam is approx. one hour and fifteen
minutes. Buses are available from Kudavasal on Thiruvarur to Kumbakonam
bus route. One can get down at Manakkal on the Tiruvarur – Nachiyar Koil
